1 "Wedding" & A "Funeral"

Our heartfelt congrats goes out to Princess Feli where she finally made the decision to go for it and yes, she has made it. Made it where? Made it to the next step of the corporate ladder :)

While the whole palace is joyful for her, we are also secretly preparing for our "funeral" :( Sigh....how is the remaining knight and princess + me, the queen gonna tahan without her :( I must say all the royal subjects of our palace are rare gems! Yes, all of you are! You are one who -> has low or even zero MC
-> is meticulous and careful with work
-> takes pride in your work
-> is super responsible
-> grumbles at things but on the other hand still working hard at it
-> is "zi dong" and works OT when necessary
-> provides fun and laughter to the palace which made it warm and vibrant
-> likes to talk back at times and hee sometimes, these "talk back" does make sense
-> has positive attitude towards work, working partners and friends

Ahhh....where to find another gem like all of you leh? Can you be cloned?

New Stuff for the New Year

Hee....Queen Cyn is always up to something! Yes yes, I agree totally! Where fun is concerned, my brain juice will always be overflowing hee!

So guess what? I have indicated a wishlist corner for the Royal Family, well except for Dowager G which I'm not sure if she is interested in it too?

Anyway, the purpose of the wishlist is to make everyone happy and life easy for the person getting the gift. At least, we are buying something that the recipient has been wanting to get :) It would be best if you could indicate the price of the item and where we can find it (to faciliate our shopping). In the event if the price is out of our budget, we will probably get vouchers up to our budget and the rest is up to you hee :P

Sad to Say....

Very sad to announce that apparently, last night's checkout was not successful. Poor Queen and Princesses....we were all hungry and tired. Did not hae dinner and only managed to go off at 12am. Worst than Cinderella :(

Best of us, I am already in office at 7.30am. This is indeed my second home.

I wonder when is the next try? Next week can??

Hardworking Royalties

Look at the time now, its past 10 pm. The Queen and the 2 princesses are still in the royal palace working hard on the testing of website enhancement. Now we are waiting for the experts to resolve our errors and to do a re-test again....

Still have part 2 of the testing not done yet.... Hai... hopefully can be Cinderalla (Go home at 12 midnight)... Hee....

3 Cheers to Princess TH!

Princess TH was the chosen one to be one of the nominees for our SRC committee. Well, since there was an edict passed down, we have to follow strictly to adhere to the rules. And of course, we all know what is the edict about hee!

The conference area was so crowded at 5pm as everyone was busy choosing the committee members as well as filling up our lucky draw coupons. After the opening speech, we were allowed to eat. Hmm, just nice cos I was so hungry siaz!

Dinner was soon over and we were presented with the results. Apparently, Princess TH's wish was not granted and she was in the committee. Oh well, so sorrie but we will try to help you along the way okie!

Lucky me won 3rd prize of the lucky draw hee! Well, is this gonna be my lucky year? Please say YES okie!

Although, it's only $30, I'm still glad that I got it! More shopping awaits me!

The Long Wait....

The whole Royal Family is awaiting instructions to roll out information onto our website. The wait is indeed long as we have been waiting since 5.30pm till now....

Everyone is bored and doesn't have the mood to do anything else. Princess Feli decided to bring out her tiramsu and started to cut and distribute to everyone left in the admin room. Hmm, so sometimes, it pays to stay behind?? Oh yah, back to the cake. It's compliment from Prince Valent. His birthday gift to our dear Princess Feli. Such a nice Prince, quick get married ba!

All Ready for You!

Opps, I suddenly remembered that it's Friday today and that means it's the deadline for me to clear up my own workstation and make way for Princess TH. Initially, I thought of doing it after 5pm. But since, it's only left with a few items, I might as well do it there and then instead of waiting again.

I was glad that I made this decision cos we stayed until 9.30pm for some urgent checkout of questions. After 5.30pm, basically everyone din have much mood cos we din expect that we gotta stay back. But anyway, back to Princess TH. We are all ready and waiting for your arrival!

Broke My Personal Record....

Never had I once in my 10 years service with my company need me to work late until 2am. Yes, I really had such a experience until this year. Even though it is done in the comfort of my home, the environment just doesn't seems right. We are supposed to be relaxed and not continue to feel so tensed up. No wonder I kept saying that we need to work like an ox in the Year of the Ox. Well, I supposed it is also because new role comes with new challenges. No such thing as free lunch in this world!

Crossing my fingers that I can sleep more after my major event this month is over. And yes, just received bad news that the Royal family might need to be recalled back to work this weekend. Princess Feli will kill me cos it's her birthday. Knight Rid will also kill me cos it's Vday. Hmm, I think I better kill myself first....

Will negotiate with the person and hoping we can enjoy our weekend....

Sleep Early

That's the advice given by Princess Feli. While I really wish that I can sleep early cos I just found out today from Princess Joanne that sleeping late can make one grow fat! Arrggghhh....But a part of me just tells me that I cannot afford wasting my time on sleep!

I hope that I can sleep slightly earlier after the SAA ceremony as this is currently one big item that is driving me nuts!

It's gonna be a sleepless night today again....

Engine Overhaul!

The Royal Family is gonna declare engine overhaul soon! Realised that our tasks are piling higher and higher. It's not because we are not working but simply there are too many things to handle. We are like a piece of rubber band which is stretched to the max and we are maintaining it well to keep it unsnap!

One thing I can be very sure is that at the end of the day, we would really feel a great sense of achievement! We are all looking forward to that day and hopefully when Princess TH comes over, she can help to ease some of our workload.

Once again, I must express my gratitude to Princess Feli and Knight Rid for going through these difficult times with me. Please bear with me as I constantly assign tasks to you through the "To-Do" list channel. Even though the list gets longer but I'm sure it feels good when you managed to clear everything at the end of it. In addition, it serves as a good tracking system as you would not missed out any urgent tasks. Once we clear the Internal Audit this month and my SAA ceremony, I believed we would be able to start on other projects and perhaps the tension won't be so tight!

Let's give each other encouragement and do our best for the Year of the Ox! I'm sure all of us can make it!!!

I have moved....

Relunctantly....from my old workstation to Empress Fiza's workstation. I din expect to move that early cos the initial plan is only to shift around end of this week. Most of my things are already at the new workstation. It's only my pc and some other few items left on my old workstation. Din know that the computer guy came this early to get it shifted. The advantage of sitting at my old place is that it's easier to talk to Knight Rid and Princess Feli. I din have to speak so loud and they would be able to hear me well. But I guessed, it's a matter of time that I shift.

Since my pc is already at my new workstation, I became lazy to shift back to my old one. As such, I decided to continue sitting at my new place and probably will wait for Fri to shift all the remaining items to my desk.

Hopefully I can find time to do so on Fri :)

Christmas Gifts 2008

To clear space for my things (so that Princess TH can have space for her new workstation), it's time for me to open up my Xmas gifts 2008 and decide from there what needs to be brought home and what stays in the office. Everyone is amazed that I can tahan not to open my presents for that long a period. Luckily I din take longer to open cos I realised one of the gifts is actually a calendar for this year hee!

Compliment for Knight Rid

I must really take this chance to compliment Knight Rid for the efforts that he has put in for the activity worksheets. It is really a good piece of work done! It is indeed not an easy task especially for a relatively new staff who does not have much exposion to the schemes to do up such a comprehensive worksheets! Thumbs up!

I'm sure the trainees would definitely benefit from this new teaching methods.

Finally, some achievements....

Not sure if it is the Lotus Notes function that is helping me being more organised or I am really pushing myself hard to clear work?

Whichever the case may be, it kinda work as I managed to complete the following tasks:

1. Orientation programme for Princess TH
2. Review of MAC/NOM activity worksheet
3. Review of Insurance activity worksheet
4. Review of Education activity worksheet and
5. Chosen the dishes for SAA ceremony (will get this reviewed)

Of course it ain't easy cos I was reviewing the worksheet in the car. But whatever it is, at least my efforts are paid off.

Presentation Ceremony

Empress Evon from the other palace came over this morning with a bag of ping pong balls. Each ball was labelled with numbers and the "Great Job Card" recipients were supposed to draw one ball personally to decide which card they would be getting.


Since Empress Fiza is not around today, I had the honour of performing the procedure with them.



First one who went ahead to pick out the ball is Princess Feli, followed by Knight Rid.

New Function

Dowager ST has reminded me to be more organised so that I will not miss out on any important tasks. I did do up a "To-Do" list manually and it's hand-written. Though it kinda works, but then just don't like the outlook of it.

Dowager ST mentioned to me during one of the meetings that I can make use of the "To-Do" function in Lotus Notes.

So, this morning, I decided to give it a try and it is really fun! Have passed the message to Princess Feli and Knight Rid.

Hope that we would be able to make use of this function effectively and get our work done on time!

Good Job!

Princess Feli was commended by Dowager ST during our bi-monthly KB meeting. She said that she can see the positive energy erupting in her hee. Well, she added to say that it must have been the stress in me that affected Princess Feli and spur her to work hard.

Whatever the case may be, I must also express my gratitude to Princess Feli and Knight Rid for giving me immediate assistance in the tasks/enquiries that I have posted to them.

Both of you have really been a great help in my course of work!
