3 Cheers to Princess TH!

Princess TH was the chosen one to be one of the nominees for our SRC committee. Well, since there was an edict passed down, we have to follow strictly to adhere to the rules. And of course, we all know what is the edict about hee!

The conference area was so crowded at 5pm as everyone was busy choosing the committee members as well as filling up our lucky draw coupons. After the opening speech, we were allowed to eat. Hmm, just nice cos I was so hungry siaz!

Dinner was soon over and we were presented with the results. Apparently, Princess TH's wish was not granted and she was in the committee. Oh well, so sorrie but we will try to help you along the way okie!

Lucky me won 3rd prize of the lucky draw hee! Well, is this gonna be my lucky year? Please say YES okie!

Although, it's only $30, I'm still glad that I got it! More shopping awaits me!

Long Live Dowager ST!

It's Dowager ST's birthday on Sat and we, the royal subjects have made prior arrangement to have lunch with her. However, her gift is still not ready to be presented! We wanted to decorate the exterior of our gift but somehow, the creative juice just refused to cooperate. Tried to get some stickers to paste as our names on it but did not managed to find anything suitable.

At last, an idea just struck Princess TH's mind as she was "taking shelter" at my workstation. She saw one of my label tag which consists of a few cute little bears. She decided to cut each of it out and use it as decoratives for our gift. The idea worked as the effect turned out to be GREAT! Thereafter, the princesses went around searching for "cut-able" and pretty items to add on to the collection.

Our wishes were hand-written by each of us and that made it really special! We couldn't finish our art work in time and we proceeded with our lunch session with her first.

Empress Fiza was already waiting for us at the lift lobby and she suggested to have lunch at one of the French Restaurant - Andre next to Watsons at Amoy. Hmm, din even notice that such a French Restaurant exist over there! All of us were pretty excited as it is a fine dining restaurant.

After our orders were taken, we chit-chatted for a while and our food was served. First item on the list was the garlic bread! We were given a choice to choose between pumpkin soup or casear salad for our appetitiser. Well, only Dowager ST and myself took the soup. As for main course, Dowager ST, Knight Rid and Princess Feli had duck, myself had chicken and Empress Fiza had beef. I simply love the chicken! So tender and juicy!

Last but not least, our meal was completed with a delicious dessert - Tiramisu. The liquor smell is pretty strong but luckily, no one was drunk hee!

I carried our gift in my hand, slowly walked into her room and was singing her a birthday song as I walked. Alamak, first thing that she said was that her hair is standing up! Bad leh, hurt my little heart wor! But okie lah, at least I'm the only one who can cause her such effect lor!

We were glad that she loved our gift and happy that this little garden has found its new home but sad that Empress Fiza was not available to be part of this mini celebration. Nevermind, there are years to come!

New Lease of Life

Princess Feli and I decided to add some 'green' into our work life. This idea came about when we were shopping around for Dowager ST's birthday gift. Initally, we decided to get some accessories for her but decided against it when we saw these cute little catus.

In the end, one by one got a pot for ourselves. I even got one for King Rick hee. Hmm, now only left with Princess TH and Knight Rid.

Quick....join the family of catus! It can ware off bad luck and bring us good luck leh!

"AUM" by a bird

Went to the Jurong Bird Park yesterday and met this idiotic pelican. He was sitting at a side and I happily went to stand in front of him trying to take a picture with him. Very soon I felt a kick on my head and all my friends started to scream. Still at a lost, I turn back to look at the pelican but he is still sitting in the same position as he was. Then I learned from my friend that he had turned and bite on my head. And now I got a scar on my face. The best thing is none of my friends managed to take a picture of me and the pelican or what happen, I felt like I had sacrificed for nothing. *sobz*


Queen Cyn and Princess Feli are also very bad, they were laughing so loud when I told them my story this morning. No sense of sympathy/empathy at all... :(

It's an unusually quiet today as the whole kingdom gets busy with the Royal Rosy Affair. The whole KB Team only left me and Bi Ni Qi. Bi Ni Qi is as usual busy nodding his head away at the corner of my workstation while I'm busy shaking my head over the UAT thingy. Haizz...

New Discovery

I must say this is a pleasant discovery! Hmm, what did I actually discover?

I can access inbox from HOME! Yes yes!! I thought that I need VPN to be able to access inbox since it's production related. I was surprised that I can do it from home!

Was just playing around the site when I just decided to give it a try. Who knows, this is a good try cos I made this discovery!

That's great! Now I have enough reason to get my royal family to apply for citrix access!

Time is Not Enough

We always hear Jack Neo saying $$ is not enough. I think other than that, time is also not enough for us to use. Sometimes, just wish that one does not need to sleep and can use the time to the max for more constructive work!

But too bad, that is not possible. Just probably need to learn how to manage time....

Yipee! It's Over....

The Royal Family went through the audit session this morning. It is something that we have been freaking over for the past few days. Roping in everyone's help to ensure that all information is updated! Well, that's the result of "last minute carry the Buddha's feet" Beri good lor!

Thanks to Buddha, he din kick us away hee! Everything went on smoothly and most important of all, there is NO FINDINGS!

Dowager ST, Empress Fiza and myself were inside. I thought that I will not be questioned but I was wrong. But hengz ah, got Dowager ST and Empress Fiza to help me when I am stuck.

Let's hope we will not be grilled for our external audit happening in a few months' time!

Audit is Coming!!

AArrggghhh....everyone is busy with the silly audit thingy tomorrow! The whole family has been activitated to just prepare the materials for the audit. Crossing our fingers that we will be well prepared for it. Most important of all, NO FINDINGS please!!

MOM Award!

We were working halfway when we were surprised by a certificate as well as a plaque. This really caught us by surprise cos we din expect to receive a personalised plaque.

However, the family did not have time to have a group pic taken. Perhaps shld do so this friday when everyone dress down!

The Final Touches....

After weeks of coordination, I am finally down to the last few touches for the ceremony. Managed to get the approval for the graduation cert and my duty roster done up.

Like what Princess Joanne says, everything is already in place and we are just waiting for the day to arrive.

Hmm, sounds like preparation for a wedding?!!??

My Namecard is Ready!

Hmm, I think I am a little bit crazy but I just got excited when I received my namecard from Princess Emily after waiting for 2 months+.

Sorrie lor, this is the first time in my 10 years of work that I got a namecard. Cos last time too junior liaoz so there is no need for that.

Finally Approved!

After so many rounds of "ding-donging" of my CE's speech, it was finally approved today! No more amendments required and I really felt a sense of satisfaction to see the approved end product.

Though the route is tough, I was still glad that I made it.

Dear knight and princesses, please adopt the same attitude as me okie!

The Date is Fixed!

Well, it's not wedding date or some dates that we can have fun! Nothing is more painful than being audited! And sad to say, the date that I am referring to is our upcoming audit date on 26 Feb.

I guessed everyone doesn't like to be checked on but there is not much of a choice cos such audits will help to ensure that everyone is doing things according to the guideline. So Knight and Princesses, please try to LOVE audit....

Thank god that all the FAQs pertaining to the COS speech is done yesterday and the team is spared from coming back to work on V-day!

Fri the 13th

It's really "Fri the 13th" for the Royal Family as we worked till 9pm+ before we can go back. Thank god that it's weekend tomorrow and that means we can sleep later.

Well, at least it goes to show the strong team bonding that we have and no one leaves each other in the lurch!

The Long Wait....

The whole Royal Family is awaiting instructions to roll out information onto our website. The wait is indeed long as we have been waiting since 5.30pm till now....

Everyone is bored and doesn't have the mood to do anything else. Princess Feli decided to bring out her tiramsu and started to cut and distribute to everyone left in the admin room. Hmm, so sometimes, it pays to stay behind?? Oh yah, back to the cake. It's compliment from Prince Valent. His birthday gift to our dear Princess Feli. Such a nice Prince, quick get married ba!

Opps, I suddenly remembered that it's Friday today and that means it's the deadline for me to clear up my own workstation and make way for Princess TH. Initially, I thought of doing it after 5pm. But since, it's only left with a few items, I might as well do it there and then instead of waiting again.

I was glad that I made this decision cos we stayed until 9.30pm for some urgent checkout of questions. After 5.30pm, basically everyone din have much mood cos we din expect that we gotta stay back. But anyway, back to Princess TH. We are all ready and waiting for your arrival!
