Back to Work....

After a long break (total of 6 days- inclusive of weekends, PH + 2 days of my leave), I am back to work today!

Have been enjoying myself and sleeping late and thus, it was a chore to wake up at 6am+ this morning. It's really a torture! In the end, arrived at work later than usual but of course still before my official working hours.

Had tons of ideas to evaluate and also the need to pack and shift my things over to my new workstation. Gotta evacuate before Princess TH comes in, else she gotta sit on the floor liaoz hee.
Aiyo, too stressed until not much appetite for me leh.

Hopefully, I can complete the goals for the day!

[Afternote: hmm only managed to accomplish half of the goals that I set leh. So sad! That means gotta continue with the same thing again on Monday :(]

Dress for MOM Award Night

I was just shopping around when I chanced upon the following dress and thought that it would be a great idea to buy it for the upcoming MOM Award night!

So without further ado, I went to try it on and hahaha, luckily I can fit in. Of course the dress is very nice but when wore on me, it's not that nice cos I am fat mah. But okie lah, still acceptable. Price is good too cos there is 40% discount. So it's about $60!

So one headache is solved. Princess Feli, are you excited about the award night?

Goodbye, my 好彩头 ...

On 28 Jan, wednesday... first thing to do when I reach office is to see my 好彩头. Hopefully it has not die of thirst yet. Guess what! I got a shock when I see my 好彩头. It has grew tremendously tall. See it for yourself.

Taking a closer look, notice that 好彩头 is sick le. Hence, I have to make a harsh decision to throw it away before I see any worms crawling on on table.

So Touched!

For some reasons, I had to lunch in today. This is very xianz especially it's on a Friday where everyone is already in the CNY mood. But nevermind lah, I guessed as colleagues, sometimes we will just help each other where possible.

So, to make my day merrier, Princess Feli was so sweet to pack lunch for me. To make things better, she paid for all the food.

My New Workstation!

Empress Fiza has vacated her workstation and it's now for me to transfer my things over. Though I am happy to have a new workstation but the thought of having her leaving us is very saddening.

In fact, I was still hoping that she can continue to be with us and fight the battle together....

But, I know that this has been something that she wanted to do i.e. training.

Let's wish her all the best in her new work area!

1st Ang Pow for the Year

It has been Dowager ST's practise to distribute ang pows to her subjects (you must be a member of the royal family as at 23 Jan 2009). This year, there is no exception!

Received it in a gold shimmering ang pow packet and I really hope that it would bring me good luck for the rest of the year. As for the amount, I shan't reveal but whatever is the amount, it's the thought that counts!

Extraction of Wisdom Tooth!

Knight Rid was daunted by his hurting tooth for some period of time. It was only today that he decided to have this root cause extracted once and for all!

So off he went to the dentist and in a few moments' time, his pain disappeared forever. Luckily he is not a Chinese else how to spend CNY happily with a lobang?

And does it mean he has lost his wisdom? Well, he said that he still has another wisdom tooth left. We shall see how he performs with 1 wisdom tooth then!

Briefing 2009

Wow, this is the first time in my 10 years of service with XXX company that I had to give a briefing in front of 100 over staff. But strange enough, I wasn't really that nervous before the start of the briefing. Princess Feli was more concerned and worried for me!

Hmm, must have been possessed, I guessed! Anyway, the briefing went through smoothly. As expected, there won't be any questions cos everyone can't wait to go home hee!

Lunch invitation

Oooo... so touch to receive an invitation from our dear Queen this morning for a welcome lunch on the day that I will "check in" to the palace haha make me feel really welcome!! Really look forward to that day~

Found the previous template that I used boring and xianz! As such, I decided to do a revamp! Changed the outlook totally and added in 3 new items:

Fated to have 好彩头!

Can't believe that it's so "zhun" Even the sticker on my bubble tea says 好彩头! Hmm, so does it mean that good luck is gonna be with me for the rest of the year?

Aiyo, better be the case leh! This year is full of challenges wor! Need to have 好彩头 + good luck to ensure that our life is smooth sailing for the year.

So dear princesses and knight, please pray for a good year for us ahead leh!

Anyway, the name of the plant is interesting i.e. 好彩头! But we better not kena 砍菜头 by others!

I was glad that my new Princess is obedient and "kuai". In addition, she is quick in accomplishing her new task! Let's give a round of applause to her!!! So your worries are unfounded! You are still within the warm warm palace!

First task assigned by the Queen

Poor Ah Tan... before she even step into the KB Palace and becomes Princess TH, she had already been assigned her first task by the "Evil Queen" (hee hee) .. Which is to post something in this blog!!

No choice!! In order to have a good life after entering the palace, Ah Tan would have to do as what the Queen ordered and post something, anything... Now Ah Tan can only hope that she won't be banished into the "Cold Palace" by the Queen after posting this hehe
