Yipee! It's Over....

The Royal Family went through the audit session this morning. It is something that we have been freaking over for the past few days. Roping in everyone's help to ensure that all information is updated! Well, that's the result of "last minute carry the Buddha's feet" Beri good lor!

Thanks to Buddha, he din kick us away hee! Everything went on smoothly and most important of all, there is NO FINDINGS!

Dowager ST, Empress Fiza and myself were inside. I thought that I will not be questioned but I was wrong. But hengz ah, got Dowager ST and Empress Fiza to help me when I am stuck.

Let's hope we will not be grilled for our external audit happening in a few months' time!

Audit is Coming!!

AArrggghhh....everyone is busy with the silly audit thingy tomorrow! The whole family has been activitated to just prepare the materials for the audit. Crossing our fingers that we will be well prepared for it. Most important of all, NO FINDINGS please!!

MOM Award!

We were working halfway when we were surprised by a certificate as well as a plaque. This really caught us by surprise cos we din expect to receive a personalised plaque.

However, the family did not have time to have a group pic taken. Perhaps shld do so this friday when everyone dress down!

The Final Touches....

After weeks of coordination, I am finally down to the last few touches for the ceremony. Managed to get the approval for the graduation cert and my duty roster done up.

Like what Princess Joanne says, everything is already in place and we are just waiting for the day to arrive.

Hmm, sounds like preparation for a wedding?!!??

My Namecard is Ready!

Hmm, I think I am a little bit crazy but I just got excited when I received my namecard from Princess Emily after waiting for 2 months+.

Sorrie lor, this is the first time in my 10 years of work that I got a namecard. Cos last time too junior liaoz so there is no need for that.

Am I too sua ku??

Finally Approved!

After so many rounds of "ding-donging" of my CE's speech, it was finally approved today! No more amendments required and I really felt a sense of satisfaction to see the approved end product.

Though the route is tough, I was still glad that I made it.

Dear knight and princesses, please adopt the same attitude as me okie!

The Date is Fixed!

Well, it's not wedding date or some dates that we can have fun! Nothing is more painful than being audited! And sad to say, the date that I am referring to is our upcoming audit date on 26 Feb.

I guessed everyone doesn't like to be checked on but there is not much of a choice cos such audits will help to ensure that everyone is doing things according to the guideline. So Knight and Princesses, please try to LOVE audit....

Thank god that all the FAQs pertaining to the COS speech is done yesterday and the team is spared from coming back to work on V-day!

Fri the 13th

It's really "Fri the 13th" for the Royal Family as we worked till 9pm+ before we can go back. Thank god that it's weekend tomorrow and that means we can sleep later.

Well, at least it goes to show the strong team bonding that we have and no one leaves each other in the lurch!

The Long Wait....

The whole Royal Family is awaiting instructions to roll out information onto our website. The wait is indeed long as we have been waiting since 5.30pm till now....

Everyone is bored and doesn't have the mood to do anything else. Princess Feli decided to bring out her tiramsu and started to cut and distribute to everyone left in the admin room. Hmm, so sometimes, it pays to stay behind?? Oh yah, back to the cake. It's compliment from Prince Valent. His birthday gift to our dear Princess Feli. Such a nice Prince, quick get married ba!

All Ready for You!

Opps, I suddenly remembered that it's Friday today and that means it's the deadline for me to clear up my own workstation and make way for Princess TH. Initially, I thought of doing it after 5pm. But since, it's only left with a few items, I might as well do it there and then instead of waiting again.

I was glad that I made this decision cos we stayed until 9.30pm for some urgent checkout of questions. After 5.30pm, basically everyone din have much mood cos we din expect that we gotta stay back. But anyway, back to Princess TH. We are all ready and waiting for your arrival!

Princess Feli's Birthday Celebration

Farewell cum Birthday Lunch

I better write something before the Queen comes after me. All right, here it goes...

Empress Fiza is leaving the palace soon. She will be moving on to another palace. We had a farewell lunch with her on 12th Feb 09. Queen have suggested Korean cruise, hence we went to "Da Chang Jing". Take a look at the varieties of dish that we had.

Broke My Personal Record....

Never had I once in my 10 years service with my company need me to work late until 2am. Yes, I really had such a experience until this year. Even though it is done in the comfort of my home, the environment just doesn't seems right. We are supposed to be relaxed and not continue to feel so tensed up. No wonder I kept saying that we need to work like an ox in the Year of the Ox. Well, I supposed it is also because new role comes with new challenges. No such thing as free lunch in this world!

Crossing my fingers that I can sleep more after my major event this month is over. And yes, just received bad news that the Royal family might need to be recalled back to work this weekend. Princess Feli will kill me cos it's her birthday. Knight Rid will also kill me cos it's Vday. Hmm, I think I better kill myself first....

Will negotiate with the person and hoping we can enjoy our weekend....

Sleep Early

That's the advice given by Princess Feli. While I really wish that I can sleep early cos I just found out today from Princess Joanne that sleeping late can make one grow fat! Arrggghhh....But a part of me just tells me that I cannot afford wasting my time on sleep!

I hope that I can sleep slightly earlier after the SAA ceremony as this is currently one big item that is driving me nuts!

It's gonna be a sleepless night today again....

Engine Overhaul!

The Royal Family is gonna declare engine overhaul soon! Realised that our tasks are piling higher and higher. It's not because we are not working but simply there are too many things to handle. We are like a piece of rubber band which is stretched to the max and we are maintaining it well to keep it unsnap!

One thing I can be very sure is that at the end of the day, we would really feel a great sense of achievement! We are all looking forward to that day and hopefully when Princess TH comes over, she can help to ease some of our workload.

Once again, I must express my gratitude to Princess Feli and Knight Rid for going through these difficult times with me. Please bear with me as I constantly assign tasks to you through the "To-Do" list channel. Even though the list gets longer but I'm sure it feels good when you managed to clear everything at the end of it. In addition, it serves as a good tracking system as you would not missed out any urgent tasks. Once we clear the Internal Audit this month and my SAA ceremony, I believed we would be able to start on other projects and perhaps the tension won't be so tight!

Let's give each other encouragement and do our best for the Year of the Ox! I'm sure all of us can make it!!!

I have moved....

Relunctantly....from my old workstation to Empress Fiza's workstation. I din expect to move that early cos the initial plan is only to shift around end of this week. Most of my things are already at the new workstation. It's only my pc and some other few items left on my old workstation. Din know that the computer guy came this early to get it shifted. The advantage of sitting at my old place is that it's easier to talk to Knight Rid and Princess Feli. I din have to speak so loud and they would be able to hear me well. But I guessed, it's a matter of time that I shift.

Since my pc is already at my new workstation, I became lazy to shift back to my old one. As such, I decided to continue sitting at my new place and probably will wait for Fri to shift all the remaining items to my desk.

Hopefully I can find time to do so on Fri :)

Christmas Gifts 2008

To clear space for my things (so that Princess TH can have space for her new workstation), it's time for me to open up my Xmas gifts 2008 and decide from there what needs to be brought home and what stays in the office. Everyone is amazed that I can tahan not to open my presents for that long a period. Luckily I din take longer to open cos I realised one of the gifts is actually a calendar for this year hee!

Compliment for Knight Rid

I must really take this chance to compliment Knight Rid for the efforts that he has put in for the activity worksheets. It is really a good piece of work done! It is indeed not an easy task especially for a relatively new staff who does not have much exposion to the schemes to do up such a comprehensive worksheets! Thumbs up!

I'm sure the trainees would definitely benefit from this new teaching methods.

Finally, some achievements....

Not sure if it is the Lotus Notes function that is helping me being more organised or I am really pushing myself hard to clear work?

Whichever the case may be, it kinda work as I managed to complete the following tasks:

1. Orientation programme for Princess TH
2. Review of MAC/NOM activity worksheet
3. Review of Insurance activity worksheet
4. Review of Education activity worksheet and
5. Chosen the dishes for SAA ceremony (will get this reviewed)

Of course it ain't easy cos I was reviewing the worksheet in the car. But whatever it is, at least my efforts are paid off.

I'm coming............ soon!

Yes!! After a few tries, finally managed to key the right password to log in. I wonder if the password would be violated after a few tries like the systems in office. Luckily it didn't, otherwise the Queen may order for my head to be executed haha..

Time really flies, left 1 more week and I will officially check into the royal palace of the KB Team. Although sad to leave my comfortable and familiar CUS-tle (read as castle), I'm also looking forward to my new life in KB Team. The biggest challenge now is how to clear all my stuffs in this 1 week's time. What to throw? What to bring home? What to pack into my "luggage"? Really 好烦阿!!!

Queen Cyn, I guess you have the same 烦脑right? You also have alot of things to shift to your new workstation before I check in, otherwise where do I place my "luggage"?? Haha..

Let's work hard to accomplish this task by end of next week. See you all in another week's time~

Wish Us Luck!

Princess TH and I decided to try our luck on TOTO. So we took the chance to buy our hopes during our lunchtime. It was said that the betting station at Tanjong Pagar NTUC is very lucky and so we decided to get our winning tickets there. Lucky places usually come with a price i.e. long waiting queue.

We had a quick lunch and joined in the queue. Was in it for half an hour before it's our turn. This is the first time that Princess Feli is buying TOTO on her own. Hope that luck is really gonna be with us!

Presentation Ceremony

Empress Evon from the other palace came over this morning with a bag of ping pong balls. Each ball was labelled with numbers and the "Great Job Card" recipients were supposed to draw one ball personally to decide which card they would be getting.


Since Empress Fiza is not around today, I had the honour of performing the procedure with them.



First one who went ahead to pick out the ball is Princess Feli, followed by Knight Rid.

New Function

Dowager ST has reminded me to be more organised so that I will not miss out on any important tasks. I did do up a "To-Do" list manually and it's hand-written. Though it kinda works, but then just don't like the outlook of it.

Dowager ST mentioned to me during one of the meetings that I can make use of the "To-Do" function in Lotus Notes.

So, this morning, I decided to give it a try and it is really fun! Have passed the message to Princess Feli and Knight Rid.

Hope that we would be able to make use of this function effectively and get our work done on time!

Princess Feli was commended by Dowager ST during our bi-monthly KB meeting. She said that she can see the positive energy erupting in her hee. Well, she added to say that it must have been the stress in me that affected Princess Feli and spur her to work hard.

Whatever the case may be, I must also express my gratitude to Princess Feli and Knight Rid for giving me immediate assistance in the tasks/enquiries that I have posted to them.

Both of you have really been a great help in my course of work!

I'm Drowning!

Think soon I will lose the appetite to eat. While it's a good thing -> cos I can slim down but I think it is definitely not a healthy thing.

There are 1001 things waiting to be done. None of it is completed cos everything is done halfway. Worst still, got more and more things piling up!

Tried to accomplish one task and half-way it's stuck so gotta start on another task. In the end, all tasks have output but not complete. There is no sense of satisfaction cos it seems like, at the end of it, I din complete anything at all.

So upsetting :(

Just the 2 of Us!

Hmm, sometimes good to enjoy some peace during the day in office.

The admin team went out as a group for lunch and shortly after, Knight Rid also went for his lunch.

Right now, it's only Princess Feli and me slogging away in peace....

Dun mind to have such peace cos it's simply shiok!

1st Visit to Woodlands Training Centre

Was scheduled to do a briefing at Woodlands Training Centre this morning. So Princess Feli and I went down this morning to conduct the briefing.

Dun noe what's wrong with me but whenever my morning routine change i.e. not going to HQ, I am sure to wake up late. Luckily I have the habit of packing my things the night before. Else I dun tink I can make it in time.

Thank goodness that XP sent me there instead of asking me to take MRT, else I would definitely be late!

The place is quite nice but I forgot to take pic! Hmm, if there is a chance to go there again, will take and post it inside!

Here comes Knight Rid...

Before Queen Cyn starts screaming on a Monday morning, I shall extend my presence first in this royal blog!

In a wink of an eye, it's already February and it's getting closer to my 1st anniversary with the Board this coming March (confetti please!). And how did January pass so quickly? Cos I had 2 major celebrations. Firstly, it's my 26th birthday (sigh.. I'm already entering my LATE-20s). And secondly, I rewarded myself with a solo trip to Hong Kong (and some neighbouring cities too).

And who ever said travelling alone was boring?? It's fun! Here's some pictures to prove it!
